WEATHER FORECAST. General inference:- The tropical cyclone is now centred south-west of Norfolk Island. It is likely to continue to move southward, and to lose intensity. Pressure is low over the western and south-western Tasman Sea, and relatively, high east of the North Island. Forecast: Light to moderate, but freshening north-east to northerly winds. Weather mainly fair, but some isolated rains probable. Temperatures warm. Seas slight to moderate.
