RIFLE SHOOTING
GREY DEFENCE CLUB. The third competition for Mr P. Beck’s Cup was fired off on the Cobden Rango on Saturday afternoon. Owing to a bad light and a variable southwest wind the shooting throughout was poor. Rifleman S. Sharman was top score with 93. The following were the leading scores, conditions 11 shots at 300 yards and 10 shots at 600 yards: Rifleman. 300 600 Hp. Tl.
BRUNNER DEFENCE CLUB The Brunner Defence Rifle Club competed for W. Fisher’s trophy yesterday. Shooting conditions were good. The winner of the trophy was G. Smith who scored the possible at the 500 yards range. The following were the scores: —
