On 27(h December, special passenger train, connecting with 7.15 p.m. train from Greymouth, leaves Otira 10.18 p.m. and arrives Christchurch 2.21 a.m. (28th). TRAINS FOR MOTOR-CARS: DECEMBER 20 TO JANUARY 4. Trains for conveyance of motorcars will leave Otira for Springfield as follows: — At 9.30 a.m. on 3rd January. At 10.45 a.m. on 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th December and Ist and 4th January. At 11.25 a.m. on 20th, 27th, 29th, 30th and 31st December.
