BELGIUM’S HEAVY LOSSES.

(Recd. December 10, 1 p.m.) BRUSSELS, December 9. Livestock losses from foot-and-mouth disease are estimated at £2,000,000. Agricultural members of Parliament urge the Government to compensate the owners also to grant financial credits to the worst sufferers.
DAMAGE IN FRANCE.
PARIS, December 9.
Foot-and-mouth disease is faging throughout France. In the Rhine Province alone, 9888 farms and 43,318 cattle are infected. The total losses are £533,000.
