Ho showed extreme brilliancy, running the first two lurlongs in 245 seconds, four furlongs in ISA seconds, mid six in 1.135. P. Atkins was the rider. A. Promising Novice: Nothing is doing better in his training at Epsom than the three-year-old Blue Crest and the novice is showing line promise. He paces in a very free stylo and sticks on really well when the pressure is applied. Blue Crest has vet to face the starter, but will probably make his first appearance at the Auckland Spring meeting, and his effort will be watched with a great deal of interest.
