The fortnightly Ingleside was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, last evening, there being a large attendance. Mr. Guy Walker, of the Blackball Post Office staff, has been granted a month’s sick leave, and his duties are being carried out by Mr. XV. Davies. Mr. T. McKeown left, by last evening’s railcar, for Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. R. Allan will leave, on Monday, for Christchurch, where Mr. Allan will attend the Educational Con ference. Air. J. Haisty left, to-day, on return to Christchurch. Mr. A. Howden, who has been an , inmate of the Grey Hospital, with a broken ankle, has returned home.
