[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] REEFTON, June 11. Mr. R. Ferner presided as Warden, at a sitting of the Warden’s Court, today. The following applications were heard: Waitahu Gold Mining Coy., for a dam license. —Granted. .Mossy Creek Gold Dredging Coy. Ltd., for a special dredging claim; objected to by R. J. Warring.—Recommended for Minister’s consent. David Absalom, for ait ordinary prospecting license. — Recommended. F. C. Elliot for an ordinary prospecting license. —Recommended. T. A. Blair, for <an ordinary prospecting license. —Recommended for Minister's consent. W. S. Clark, for a certificate of protect ion.—Recommended. C. McMasters and others, to surrender a coal license. — Recommended. The annual meeting of the Motueka Licensing Committee was held at the Courthouse to-day. Mr R. Ferner. S.M.. presided. Publicans’ licenses were granted renewal, except the following, which were adjourned for three months:—A. .1. C’hettle, for the Exchange Hotel, Reevon: Mrs I. Stallard, for Dawson's Hotel, Reefton: J. Butler, for the Criterion Hotel. Reefton: and P. Berthelsen. for accommodation house. Takaka. Accommodation licenses were granted to various applicants.
