DUKE OF WINDSOR
ROYAL HIGHNESS TITLE.
[RY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. May 29, 10 a.m.) LONDON, May 28. Although the Duke of Windsor, by the instrument of abdication, expressly excluded himself from the title of Royal Highness, the King by letters patent just issued wishes him still to enjoy the title, which, however, will not extend to his wife or possible children, who, however, will be entitled' to forms of address appropriate to a duke’s wife and children. The Associated Press understands the decision that Mrs. Warfield, upon her marriage, was not to become Her Royal Highness was obviously taken only after consultation with the Dominion Ministers on the same basis as British Ministers. It is assumed that, all the Dominions concurred in the decision.
