RABBITSKIN sale. [per press association.] DUNEDIN, April 15. Since the commencement of the safes a fortnight ago. the quant l ies of rabbitskins offered an increase. Though winter skins have not yet made their appearance the market may be quoted as firm on th last sale for hatters’ grades and all early-caught skins. Autumn grades show an improvement of 4d to 6d toi early autumns and up to 12d on late autumns. The top price , £ °r winteis was 106 d. The following is the range

Board of Trade regulations' fix the price of raw tobacco at 1/2 a pound/ but the Minister may authorise the sale and purchase of tobacco at a< lower price than that fixed if he considers it proper to do so. RESERVE BANK WELLINGTON, April 15. A decrease of £14,200 in the note issue is shown in the Reserve Bank return this week. Demand liabilities to the State have increased by £625,800, and other demand liabilities by £73,100. Those to the trading banks are less by £248,500. Sterling exchange is £93,200 greater.
