' Mr. R. E. Linssen, who has been accountant at the office of the “Greymouth Evening Star,” for the past six years, has, resigned his appointment, and will leave on Tuesday, for the JJorth Island.
The Governor-General, Lord Galway, arrived in Auckland, yesterday, after a coastal trip in the Government lighthouse steamex- Matai,- during which he spent several days deep-sea fishing off Cape Brett.' His Excellency will leave fox- Wellington on official business on. Monday evening, and expects to return to Auckland on Thursday.— Press Assn..
