LORD NUFFIELD’S HOPE [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] (Recd. Feb. 19, 2 p.m.). CANBERRA, February 19. Lord Nuffield, speaking at a Commonwealth Government function in his honour, said that he was thankful for all the kind things said about him. “I am taking no credit to myself for what I have done, for the simple reason that I have the money to do it but I also say—and this applies to the Old Country, too—that there are too many people who have money, who do not do it. I hope that what I have done will be an example to others.”
