A sentence of three weeks’ imprisonment was imposed on Phillip Neil Partridge, aged 35, when he was conIvicted in the Hastings court to-day :of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor vehicle. Accused was also I disqualified from holding a license for the next two years. He had two previous convictions for the same offence. THIRD OFFENDER FINED FOXTON. February 17. Frederick Waller, a farmer, of Himitangi, a- t-hi rd-otfond-eiv- wai-xtonvi ct ed and lined £5O. and prohibited from obtaining a. driving license for three years for driving a motor-car while intoxicated. Waller was warned not to drive the car by a constable, but he ignored the warning. He was also driving without a license, for which he was convicted.
