SHIPPING NOTES. Karu is to sail”this afternoon,' for Miramar and Wellington. She returns from Wellington to Bruce Bay, and thence to Greymouth, to load timber for Petone and Miramar. Kaimiro is loading for Wellington. She is to sail early on Saturday morning. Poolta is expected to leave Auckland to-night, with Greymouth cargo. She is to load here on Monday, for Auckland.

Kauri is expected to load here about Tuesday, for Melbourne and Adelaide. Kiwitea is expected to leave Wellington, to-morrow, with Greymouth cargo. On arrival, she loads for Wellington, Rata is now to leave Wellington to day, for Nelson, Tarakohe, Westport and Greymouth.
