MISSISSIPPI DANGER ENDED.

NEW ORLEANS, February 15. The authorities express the belief that danger from the Mississippi flood is ended. The crest is nearing Vicksburg and is expected to pass without damage into the Gulf of Mexico in a few days. LOS ANGELES SUBURBS. LOS ANGELES, February 15. More than 500 persons evacuated suburban homes in 24 hours, rain having caused creeks and drainage basins to overflow. Police and' Red Cross officers used boats for the evacuation.
