NEW CONTROL BOARD

RUGBY, February 15.

In accordance with the Air Navigation Act, a new Air Registration Board, which has now been formed, will in the Spring, undertake the responsibility for airworthiness in regard to design, construction, and maintenance of small civil aircraft, including supervision of all civil aircraft, carrying fewer than 10 passengers. Machines of bigger capacity will remain in the control of the Air Ministry. * The Board contains representatives of insurance interests, aircraft industry, aircraft operators, and the Royal Aero Club. A representative of the pilots, and another for the travelling public, will be nominated by the Secretary for Air.
