“If members of the Government were able to meet all the requests for visits to different parts of the Dominion, they would be travelling solidly for the next three montbs,” remarked the Minister for Internal Affairs (Hon. W. E. Parry) at Auckland. “The pages of the diaries of Cabinet Ministers are still crammed with varied engagements, and they are trying to ' complete as many of them as is possible . before the Christmas holidays begin. There has been no chance of a let-up for the* last 12 months —all have stuck steadfastly to their allotted jobs—and froy what lies ahead there will not be ' any easing up next year.”
