£25,000 GIFT TO HOSPITALS
DONATIONS IN ONE WEEK. LONDON, October 24. Gifts totalling £25,000 to hospitals at Bournemouth, Hampstead, and Letchworth by Mr. Alexander G. Maclean, of West Overcliff Drive, Bournemouth, formerly of London, were announced by sir Henry Page Croft, M.P., at Bournemouth last night. Sir Henry was speaking at a dinner in connection with the appeal in Bournemouth for funds for hospital extension. He said that Mr. Maclean had recently retired and gone to live in Bournemouth, and had told him that he was anxious to do what he could to Help his fellow men. wo t * a^s he had learned that Air. Alaclean had decided on a gilt of £5,000 to the Cottage Hospital at Letchworth, with which town Air.
