REEFTON NOTES
[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] REEFTON, December 19. The Reefton Swimming Club met on Thursday evening, Mr. C. Coxall presiding. Mrs. Lawry was appointed secretary and Mr. C. Coxall treasurer. Mr. C. Coxall, junr., was appointed caretaker for the season. It was resolved that in view of the Health Department restrictions, that no children under 15 be allowed to make use of the Baths in the meantime. That application be made for the championship events at Reefton this year. There has been a fall of snow on the mountain ranges in the Maruia district, and the nights are still cold. The wedding was solemnised at Wellington on Wednesday, of Henry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris of Reefton, and Alice only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Bennet of Reefton. The bride was attired in a brown French satin jumper suit and a brown picture hat, and wore shoes and stockings to tone. Her bouquet was of roses in red and orange. Mr. Morris was the recipient of a wallet of notes from the Waratah Football Club, of which he was a member.
