WRESTLING. HASTINGS, December 18. Before the smallest attendance ever to have seen a wrestling ’contest at Hastings, George Walker drew with George Bauman, each gaining a fall. Though the contest was strenuous, it lack interest. SWIMMING. NELSON, December 19. The Australian swimmers concluded their tour with an appearance in Nelson last night. J. Fleming won the 100 yards event in 57 2-5 secs, J. Frank (Nelson) 2. D. Symes (Christchurch) and A. O’Connor gave brilliant diving exhibitions.
