SAILED. October 5. —Alexander, m.v., 196 tons (Martin), 5.0 p.m., for Dargaville. IN PORT. Kartigi, Rata. EXPECTED ARRIVALS Waimea, Port Waikato, to-morrow. Hokitika, Wellington, Thursday. Poolta, Auckland, Monday. Titoki, Onehunga, early. PROJECTED DEPARTURES Rata, Petone, to-night. Hokitika, Hokitika, early. Kartigi, Wellington, early. Poolta, Auckland, early. Kalingo, Sydney, early. Waimea, New Plymouth, early, SHIPPING NOTES. Alexander sailed yesterday afternoon, for Dargaville. Kartigi arrived early this morning, from Napier, to load coal for Wellington and Miramar. Rata is to sail at midnight with timber for Petone, Wellington and Miramar. She returns about Saturday, via Westport, to load timber for the same ports. Titoki will discharge coal at Tarakohe, to-day, and will then proceed, to Lyttelton, then Dargaville via Nelson, returning to Nelson and West Coast ports, via Onehunga. Waimea is due to-morrow night from Port Waikato, to load timber for New Plymouth. Poolta, with general cargo from Auckland, via Portland, is due to load on Monday at Greymouth, foi* Auckland. Kalingo loads timber at Westport for Sydney this week, completing at Greymouth about Friday. Hokitika has been delayed at Wellington, and is due here on Thursday from Westport, with general cargo for Hokitika and Greymouth. OTHER PORTS. SYDNEY, October 6. Sailed from Newcastle, James Cook for New Zealand. AUCKLAND, October 6. Arrived, Lindenbank from Nauru. Sailed, Poolta, for Greymouth. SYDNEY, October 5. Arrived: Awatea from Wellington; Mariposa from Auckland.
