BOY KILLED BY BUS. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, August 9. Fatal injuries were suffered by a five-year-old boy, Brian Kennedy, when he was run over by a motor bus in Point Chevalier Road on Saturday afternoon. The boy was the son of Mr. J. Kennedy, of Point Chevalier. CHILD DROWNED. GISBORNE, August 8. A Maori child, May Tuihana McGuire, the three-year-old daughter of William McGuire, was drowned in a well at Makaraka yesterday. Deceased, who had been visiting Mrs. T. Halbert, -wandered away and when a search was made, her body was discovered in the well. CYCLIST KILLED. TEMUKA, August 9. John Bate, an elderly man, living near Temuka, was killed instantly about 7 p.m. to-day, while cycling on the Main South road about two miles north of Temuka.
