HAMILTON, August 8.

Several unusual features attacked to the birth, and although the pair failed to survive, the mother, who was very seriously ill, is now steadily progressing towards recovery. The mother, who is only 22 years of age, has been married for Liree years, and has one child, a boy aged IS months. The first boy was a very healthy child, weighing 6Jlbs when born. The couple had been in Hamilton only One week prior to the wife’s confinement, having journeyed up by car from the south the previous week.

The twins were attached breastbone to breastbone, and were nearly one month premature. They were females, and, from all appearances, perfect. physically.
