SUBMISSION TO ITALY. (nv CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYa.GHT.I LONDON, August 7. The Rome correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph" says that in the presence of Has Seyoum, Marshal Graziani told a group of chietfains at Addis Ababa that Italy would bring peace, work, and justice to the country, and would not spare the rebels. He finally appealed to the recalcitrants to capitulate, and warned them that the longer they held out the mor© terrible- would be the justice meted out to them. Acts of submission signed by the chieftains declared that the signatories recognised no sovereign but King Victor Emanuel. Jesus Afework signed a submission and told the chiefs that those who rebelled against Italy were the enemies of their own country. He urged them to assist Marshal Graziani to pacify Abyssinia.
