ASBESTOS TOWER
PERTH SOCIETY'S REQUEST.

It was stated at a meeting of the Subiaco Municipal Council that the Rosicrucian Order believed that a world war would start in September, and had applied to the council for permission to build an asbestos tower on a brick building. The tower would be used by members of the order to intercede with the Higher Power for Australia. to be spared from attack. A councillor stated that, when councillors went to inspect the monastery of the order, they were met by membcis wearing long cerise-coloured robes, which bore a. design of a cross and roses.
