The touring Fiji women’s hockey team were defeated at Gore to-day by Eastern Southland by 7 goals to nil, in a one-sided display. The home side were never troubled. They displayed superior combination, having the game in hand throughout. In a curtain-raiser, the Eastern B team defeated Southland A team by three goals to nil. SATURDAY’S MATCHES. Mawhcra v.
