The Egyptian Consul at Addis Ababa telegraphs the Government that severe fighting at Addis Ababa resulted in heavy losses on both sides.
The Italian garrisons at Harrar and lijiga are virtually confined to the owns, while the Abyssinians rove in he neighbouring country unchecked.
