Cotton just missed a tenyard putt at the last hole, for a tie. He was very tired, but refused to retire, as was suggested overnight. SYDNEY WOMAN’S RECORD. SYDNEY, July 2. Playing in lhe Women’s State Golf Championship, first qualifying round to-day, Mrs R. A. Clements broke the Royal Sydney course record with 74, which is one under the scratch score for the course.
