HUNT CUP STEEPLES, about 2.1 miles:
1 COUNT WILLONYX (Deslandes) 1 3 WAR EAGLE .. ... .. 2 The only two to finish, the other horses falling. No time was taken. Scr. —Cometra, Ten Acre, The Ranger and Taurau Lad. Won by three furlongs.
