WEATHER FORECAST. General inference: Barometers are still low over the New Zealand area, depressions being centred this morning -west of Cape Egrnont and north of Chatham Island, respectively. Forecast: Moderate to fresh easterly to southerly winds. Weather mainly' fair to cloudy in coastal areas, but some scattered showers likely, and snow on the ranges. Cold temperatures. Seas moderate.
