NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW

BUTTER CHAMPIONSHIPS [per press association.] PALMERSTON N„ June 16. “It is considered that the standard and quality of the creamery butter exhibits shows an improvement. There is also a commendable uniformity of manufacture worthy of special mention. The exhibits under review were taken at random from grading stores from February. Practically all were classified as finest grade. Owing to the very small margin of merit separating the exhibits in the finals of the various classes difficulty was experienced in selecting the winners and runners-up and all deserve congratulations.” The foregoing is the comment of judges of the butter classes at National Dairy Shows, whose awards were released to-day.
