[our own correspondent.] Miss J. Rippen (Christchurch) and Mr J. Stewart (Timaru) who have been the guests of Miss Nimmo (Taylorville) left on their return by yesterday’s express. Miss G. Buchanan’s (Dobson) condition is improving. She i 3 an inmate
of the Grey Hospital. Both Wallsend and Dobson mines have worked five shifts this week, and the same number the previous week. The Taylorville School Committee held their weekly card party. The following won the prizes: Mrs Rostern 1, Mrs E. Dando 2.
