WIFE BEHIND WIRE
A JEALOUS HUSBAND. LONDON, March 28. A 28-year-old wife, applying for a separation order at an English Court this week, alleged that her husband was so “insanely jealous” that he put a barbed wire entanglement round the house; barred the windows; kept a gun in his bedroom; threatened her with a razor and a knife; waited near,the house, dressed in her clothes, for the approach of some “favoured
r man.” The husband, aged 38, denied all the allegations of-, cruelty. He said he, had barricaded the windows in order to protect the health of his wife. The cause of all the trouble, he alleged, was his wife’s' who had objected to his ■ marriage, and who interfered in their domestic affairs. The Bench granted a separation order. '
