DOCTOR’S CLAIM. LONDON. March 28. A doctor who claims to make fat people thin by hypnotic suggestion is shortly coming to London. He also cures stage fright and microphone fright by nie same treatment, and numbers many eminent actors and actresses among his patients. Dr. Vince —the hypnotic doctortold this week how he cured Elside Kerry, a famous Budapest musical comedy star. This actress was so petrified with stage fright that. Dr. Vince occupied a seat in the front, row of the stalls at every first performance of shows in which she appeared. All the time she was on the stage the doctor would fix her with an unswervinggaze. The hypnotic treatment proved ,so successful that Miss Keery was completely cured of stage fright. Obesity is another disease which Dr. Vince declares is mainly a nervous one, a”* 1 which he treats with hypnotic suggestion. “Under hypnotic influence,” he said, “(-.ven the most cruel diet becomes a thing of joy.”
