MAN WHO VANISHED
A LONDON MYSTERY. LONDON, March 19. A- sequel to a London mystery is the decision to offer a reward of £5OO for informationf as to the whereabouts of Mr. Joseph Righthouse, a wealthy South African chemist, who disappeared from his West End hotel in December, 1934. Mr. Righthouse came to London with his wife for a holiday in September that year. Three months later he contracted a skin disease, tor which he saw a Hurley-street specialist. A few days afterwards he walked out of his hotel. He had about £5O with him. Police traced him to Boulogne, but from that point all trace of him was lost. Air. Righthouse had thousands of pounds invested in his Cape Town Iffifdness and in Government stocks. It is understood that if the present attempt to secure news of him fails steps will be taken to presume his death.
