Figures released by the Government Statistician show that deaths on the roads of New South Wales in 1935 totalled 401, 66 more than in the previous year. DESERT RESCUE. PERTH, April 7. Stranded in desert country and in a serious condition from thirst,* five, men were rescued midway between the towns of Meekatharra and'Wiluna. When found, two of the men were delirious. In addition to his New South Wales estate, the late Mr. Creswick left in Victoria an estate valued at £121,000.
