S.I. PLAYERS LEAVE. Messrs J. Calder, AV. McNeight, W. Glynn. G. Scott and P. Scott, members of the South Island Rugby League team, left, this morning, for Auckland, where the inter-island match will take place on Saturday. Messrs C. Hall (manager and sole South Island selector), and' R. Kay accompanied the team. The West Coast party will be joined in C hristchurch by A. Behan ami .1. 'rhe Australian Rugby League team to visit New Zealand will leave Sydney on September 21, arrive on September 25. and play the first match on that day.
