Th© South Africans' to-day began a match against Gloucester, who made 279, the visitors in their first innings losing 4 for 144. The inclusion in their . team . to-day of Balaskas and Siedle is an indication that the South Africans are recovering from, their injuries ip readiness for the final Test match, .which begins on August 17. Sinfield made 102 for Gloucester. He gave a faultless display which lasted three hours. With Neale he added 102 rubs in seventy minutes. Scores: —
