TEACHERSHIP VACANCIES. , At a meeting of the executive committee of the Nelson Education Board held on Thursday, the following appointments; were made: — Denniston High School, infant mistress. Miss Agnes M. F. Marr, four applicant s. llaaakeke. sole teacher, Miss Alexandra G. Kane, 1!' applicants. Whangainoa. sole teacher, Mr. Douglas J. Grindley. 2G applicants. Foxhill, assistant mistress. Miss Leonie E. Whileford. 13 applicants. it was decided in connection with the forthcoming General Election, that where the school building is used as a polling booth, the teacher may act as returning officer, provided there tiro not any suitable unemployed persons available.
