IKAMATUA NOTES
Jour own correspondent.] Mr. and Mrs. 11. C. Cullen returned to Ikamatua on Thursday evening. Mrs. H. T. Wyatt, who has been visiting her brother, Mr. A. Bradley, at Hukarere, returned to Kaiapoi to-day. Master J. Green left on return to Wellington to-day, after spending his school vocation with his parents at Ikamatua. A special meeting of the Ikamatua Rugby Football Club was held last evening, Mr. J. Green presiding over a good attendance. A motion of condolenc was passed to Mr. 11. Leggoe and family in their bereavement. The President’s action in postponing the footballers’ ball, which was to have been held to-night, was endorsed. It was resolved to notify the Sub-Union that the Ikamatua teams will not be playing on Sunday, owing to the bereavement in the district, the secertary to notify the Sub-Union to that effect, Mr. H. Leggoe being a vice-president of the club.
