WAIRARAPA CANDIDATES I. [PER press association.] | MASTERTON. April 2G. ; The following mayors of Wairarapa towns have been re-elected unopposed: Masterton, T. Jordan; Carterton, W. Fisher; Featherston, J. W. Card; Eketahuna, W. Simpson. There are three nominations for Greytown mayoralty. Polls are necessary for Masterton, Featherston and Eketahuna Borough Councils. There are 18 candidates nominated for eleven vacancies on Mas-' terton Borough Council. Greytown Council is three short of the required number. The only contest for Wairarapa Hospital Board representatives is for Masterton Borough, where there are four candidates for three vacancies. There are several contests for Wairarapa Power Board seats. Three nominations were received for two Wairarapa district representatives on the Wellington Harbour Board, T. R. Barrer, Hugh Morrison and Ben Roberts. INVERCARGILL NOMINATIONS. INVERCARGILL, April 26. Nominations for seats on the City Council closed to-day.
