MAORI GULLY DREDGE.

The contractors report that the Maori Gully dredge had a short run on Wednesday afternoon, and worked satisfactorily, except that sand from the screen was inclined to block the trough leading to the launders. This will be rectified immediately, after which it is expected that the dredge will be ready to commence operations. *

TOTARA FLAT SALE.

Messrs McMahon and Lee will hold a sale at the Totara Flat saleyards on Monday, 25th. inst., when they will offer 600 good Romney crossbred ewes. Further entries are invited.
