TRACTOR PARTY’S PLIGHT. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] LITTLE AMERICA, December 21. The last remaining machine of the tractor party has broken down. The machine has been abandoned 136 miles from the camp, according to wireless information from the Held. This marks the climax of two months of miasdventures suffered by this group. Admiral Byrd immediately sent a rescue party, which expects to reach them in a few days. No concern is felt for their safety as they are supplied with over a month’s rations.
