ELECTRICITY WORKS SEIZED. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Received December 22, 8 a.m.) LONDON, December 21. The “News-Chronicle’s” Warsaw correspondent says: The Commercial Court’s decision to sequestrate the entire property of the French-owned Warsaw Electricity Company valued at ten million sterling, is expected to have important political and economic consequences. The decision followed the Warsaw muncipalities’ allegation that the company was overcharging, making excessive profits, and there were balance sheet irregularities. It is stated that France intends appealing to the Hague Court.
