WEDDING
PATTINSON —PAUL. The wedding was celebrated, this morning, at Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, of Eileen May, eldei daughter of Mr and Mrs Norman Paul, Greymouth, to Victor, third son of Mi and Mrs C. Pattinson, of Runanga. Archdeacon Jermyn officiated, and Mr T. F. Savage presided at the organ. The Bride, escorted by her father, was attired in an ankle-length frock oi ivory georgette and suede lace, cut on simple fitting lines. The new neckline was finished with a diamante clasp, the sleeves falling in cowl effect to the elbows and tight fitting to the wrist. The beautifully embroidered veil was simply arranged, and held in position by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of Regal lilies and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss Thelma Paul, and Miss Marion Burrows, who wore ankle-length frocks of neach georgette., with frilled godets and shoulder epaulettes, the cowl neck lines being held in place with diamente clasps. The waist lines were swathed with, sashes, which formed large bows at the back. They were fancy crinoline hats and carried bouquets of sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The flower girls, Fay Black and Blanche Kenning, wore dainty frocks of French turquoise crepe-de-chine with knife-pleated shoulder trimmings. They also wore dainty Alice in Wonderland hair bands, and carried Victorian posies to match. Mr Herbert Pattinson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr John Bourke was groomsman. qhe reception was held at Herb Mcore’s. where Mrs Paul received the guests, smartly attired in a wine ensemble, with hat to tone. She carried a posy of carnations and maidenhair fern. Mrs Hutchinson, sister of the bridegroom, wore a navy elephant crepe swagger suit, relieved with white, and she wore a hat to tone. She carried a posy of carnations and maidenhair fern.
Mr and Mrs Pattison left by the express for Christchurch, the bride travelling in a nigger brown ensemble, with hat and shoes to match.
