SHIPPING NOTES The Alexander sailed last night, for Napier and Nelson. The Rata arrived last night from Wellington, via Westport. She is to sail this afternoon, for Tarakohe, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kartigi is now to sail to-mor-row morning, for Wellington. The Ngakuta is to sail to-morrow night for Sydney, with timber. The Gael is due to-morrow morning, from Wellington. Captain G. A. Gray has taken com- 1 maud of the Kaimiro, at Auckland, relieving Captain W. W. Fish, who is returning to Sydney, for further orders.
