SCHOOL BREAKS-UP

GREY MAIN SCHOOL. A break-up social was held at the Grey Main school last evening, there being a, large attendance of pupils, and members ''of the staff. June Black and Molly Barrowman, on behalf of the Standard VI pupils, made preesntations to their teacher, Mrs. E. Wise, in recognition of her work for them. Mr. J. Graham (headmaster) and Mrs. V. Black (for assisting at the annual concert) were also the recipients of presentations. Items were given during the evening by June Black and Len O’Callaghan, and community singing was led by Rata Shaw. Supper was served, and the evening concluded with, a card tournament.
