MUSSOLINI’S BROADCAST. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. December 19, 1 p.m.) ROME, December IS. “The plough traces the furrow, but the sword defends it,” declared Signor Mussolini, in a broadcast, inaugurating the new Italian province of Littorio. The land was reclaimed from the Pontine marshes, between Naples and Rome. He added: “Ten years’ work remains, and great strength of arms is needed, to prevent its interruption.”
