(Received December 18, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Decembei’ 17. “The Wool Federation appointed a delegation to watch the effects of the South American and South African bartering with Germany,” says the “Textile Mercury.” The scheme is unlikely to affect wool values, but may temporarily harden the South African market. It adds: Bartei’ may 'seriously affect British exports to South Africa, perhaps infringing the spirit of Ottawa.
