VICTORIAN TOURNAMENT. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] MELBOURNE, December 17. At the tennis tourney, in the mixed doubles semi-final, Hopinan and Mrs. Hopman defeated Thompson and Miss Hattersley 6/4, 7/5. The Hopmans will meet Perry and Miss Round in the final at the beginning of the Australian Championships at Melbourne next month. The final has been postponed owing to Perry making a visit to Sydney. The nlay to-day was generally erratic, the men especially being off their games. It is announced definitely that the Australian Championships will be played at Melbourne, even if all the courts at Kooyong are unavailable. The entries for the championships closed to-day.
