Barrer, representing Cambridge, won the interVarsity cross country seven miles race in 46min 7sec,, Cambridge defeating Oxford by 32 to 2'3. WRESTLING SYDNEY, December 16. Wrestling at Leichardt Stadium, Joe Dawson received the decision against Tommy Nolan, who went berserk in the fifth round and was disqualified. Each wrestler had scored a fall previously. I ROWING. WANGANUI, December 15. The annual four-oar boat race between Christ’s College and Wanganui Collegiate School, was decided this morning over a inile course. The conditions were ideal for rowing. Wanganui established a. slight lead early, but ths visitors spurted a quarter of a. mile from home and the boats raced together until 200 yards from the post, when Christ’s College forged ahead and won by three-quarters of a length after a splendid race. WANGANUI. December 17. Christ’s College in the last few strokes, defeated Technical College this morning, by a canvas, in the great four-oar boat race. The conditions were ideal for rowing.
